Getting Started

  • Begin by creating a username and company for yourself. This will create an account on the system for you use.
  • After creating the account, you can login by clicking on the login button on the left hand menu.
  • Multiple sites can be created within a company via the sites administration menu.
  • Now we want to add services and optionally additional users to the company. This can be done from the administration menu. However, an authorization key must be purchased prior to making these additions.
  • From the order screen select the options that you want to purchase. When you complete the purchase, you will be emailed a set of keys along with an order number. From the administration menu, enter each key, or enter the order number and your email address to automatically enter all purchased keys.
  • The purchased keys will now be assigned to, and appear, under your login in the administration menu.
  • You can assign individual keys to the sites created from the sites administration menu. Each key is can have multiple quantities associated with it depending on how many you purchased. You can assign one per item/site, or multiple per item/site.
  • Each "assignment" creates, or extends the expiration date of the service. The subscription length time associated with each key does not start until it is applied to a site, or company, therefore, unused/unassigned keys do not expire. When assigning keys to a site, the subscription time is additive for sites that already have time associated with them.
    • Example #1: You have a site that has subscribed to the ISO 14001 Logic product. It is due to expire on 7/23/2001. If you purchase two additional years of this service, you can either extend this site’s expiration date to 7/23/2002, or 7/23/2003, depending on how many keys you apply to the site’s service. If you opt to only extend the service to 7/23/2002, you can leave the other year of service that was purchased in your account. It can be used at any time, and does not expire. You could then apply this additional year to this site’s service at a later date, or apply it to a different site in your account.
    • Example #2: You have created a new site that you want to subscribe to the ISO 14001 Logic product. You create the site, then apply one or more of the keys purchased to that site. The expiration date will be one year from the date it is applied, NOT the date the key was purchased.
    • Note #1: For expired services, when a key is applied, the expiration date is forward from the date the key is applied, NOT the expiration date. Like a car’s inspection.
    • Note #2: Different services have different subscription term lengths (Months, Years, etc.).
  • We can now add additional users to a company if desired. Additional users signons can be purchased for a nominal yearly fee. They can be purchased from the order screen like other services. If the user already has a login on the system for a different company, you can specify the Authorization key to use, along with their username via the user administration menu. This will add them to the company you are working with. To add a new user to the system and your company, simply select the new user option from the user administration menu.
  • You can now assign users rights to different areas in different sites from the user administration menu.
